Now Selling Limited Edition Eclipse Syrup

Monday, April 8, 2024, was quite a day in our sugarbushes in northern Vermont.

It was quite simply spectacular. And we’d like to share some of that magic with you.

See, at 3:30 in the afternoon on April 8, at the height of our sugaring season, we experienced a total solar eclipse. Given the way our sugarmaking season has unfolded, we just happened to be making maple syrup when the eclipse took place.

And now, we’re selling the syrup made during the eclipse in true moonshine style – a glass quart jar.

“I think it’s the best-flavored maple syrup we’ve ever made,” said Cecile Branon. “It has a really delicate flavor to it, and we canned some of it as a special limited run.”

The Maple Moonshine Syrup was all gathered, bottled, and boiled from our operation in the Cold Hollow region. It’s $32 a quart and can be shipped around the country.

Get your Maple Moonshine Syrup today before it’s gone.

Visitors flocked by the thousands to northern Vermont for the eclipse as we were in the path of totality with some of the best viewing conditions in all of the US. It’s the first time Vermont has experienced a total solar eclipse since 1932.
