Maple Apple Bars

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Vermont Maple Syrup
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup walnuts
  • 2 cups unbleached flour
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 2 cups chopped apples
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Directions

Stir by hand when mixing. Do not use an electric mixer. Bake in a 9×13 pan, greased and floured. Bake at 350 for 1 hour. Cool – cut into bars.
