Maple Bars with Nuts
Ingredients
- 1 1/4 cups flour
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup softened butter
Combine flour and sugar, cut in the butter. Mix until mixture resembles coarse meal. Press mixture into a greased 9″ pan. Bake 375 for 15 min.
- 2 beaten eggs
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 3/4 cup Vermont Maple Syrup
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
- 1 cup chopped walnuts
Combine ingredients and beat well. Add nuts. Pour filling over prepared crust. Bake about 25 minutes at 350 or until firm. Cool and cut into squares.
